Just DME Parts Shipping Policy

At Just DME Parts we understand the importance of receiving your durable medical equipment (DME) parts quickly and reliably. We strive to process and ship your order as efficiently as possible, managing the process from our trusted manufacturers directly to your location.

Order Processing and Shipment Time

All orders are processed and fulfilled directly by our network of manufacturers.

  • Standard Processing: For most in-stock items, orders are processed and ready for shipment within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Custom and Special Orders: Certain replacement parts may be custom-made or special-ordered. These items require a longer lead time, which can take a few weeks. The specific estimated lead time for any such item will be clearly noted on its respective product page.

  • Disclaimer on Timing: While we work diligently with our manufacturers, we cannot guarantee delivery or shipment dates. All stated times are estimates, and unforeseen delays in manufacturing, freight, or carrier transit are possible. We recommend ordering necessary parts well in advance to avoid disruption.

  • Geographic Coverage: We only ship to the Domestic United States (Contiguous 48 States and Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses). We do not ship to international locations or US territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands.

  • Alaska & Hawaii: Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from the flat-rate and free shipping policies. Customers in these states must contact us to receive a custom shipping quote prior to placing an order.

  • P.O. Boxes: For delivery security, we cannot ship to standard P.O. Box addresses. Please provide a physical street address for all orders.

Expedited Shipping (Quote Required)

We offer expedited shipping options for customers needing urgent delivery. However, due to volatile and variable expedited shipping costs, a custom quote is required for all rush orders.

Important Note on Custom/Special Parts:

Please understand that expedited shipping only shortens the transit time, not the processing or production time. If the part is custom-made or requires a special order (as noted on the product page), the original production lead time must still occur before the item can be shipped via the expedited service.

How to Request an Expedited Quote:

To receive a quote for expedited shipping, please contact us using one of the following methods:

Expedited Quoting Timeline:

Quoting expedited shipping is a multi-step process that involves contacting the manufacturer on your behalf. Please note the following:

  • The expedited shipping cost quote can take up to one business day to receive and relay to you.

  • If the part is a special or custom order, the lead time for the part itself may require a longer quoting period, potentially longer than one business day.

Shipment Tracking, Communication, and Delivery

  • Tracking Confirmation: Once your order ships from the manufacturer, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email containing your tracking number(s) and the designated carrier. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking number to become active in the carrier’s system.

  • Incorrect Shipping Address: The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is provided. If an order is returned to the manufacturer due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, you will be subject to a re-shipping fee equivalent to the full, variable cost of shipping from the manufacturer.

Reporting Damaged, Defective, or Lost Shipments

Due to the sensitive nature of medical equipment, we require prompt communication regarding any issues. Please contact us directly via the Contact Us form, submit a ticket through our Support Portal, or email customerservice@justdmeparts.com for all claims.

  • Damaged Shipments: If your part arrives damaged, you must report the damage to us within 1 business day of delivery. Please include photographs of the damaged part and the packaging.

  • Defective Parts: If a part appears to be in good condition upon arrival but is found to be defective within its stated functionality, you must report the defect within 15 business days of the delivery date. Please note that most parts do not carry a warranty unless specifically noted on the product page.

  • Lost Shipments: If your package is lost in transit or if tracking shows it was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us immediately through our Contact Us form or by emailing customerservice@justdmeparts.com. We will initiate a trace or claim with the carrier on your behalf.

While we strive for 100% accuracy, variances in production, serial numbers, and equipment modifications mean we cannot guarantee that every part listed will be compatible with your exact unit.

We strongly recommend taking these steps for certainty:

  1. For Best Results: Submit a detailed parts request including your product's make, model, and serial number. We will use this information to consult directly with the manufacturer to find the precise solution.
